Local authorities urged to add more public toilets in Ulverston and the South Lakes

 
A local council has been urged to add more public toilets in order to meet a “desperate need”, a recent news report in the local media has been able to suggest. 
 
Councillor Mark Wilson raised the issue with South Lakeland District Council officials and called for them to serve the Croftlands estate play area.
 
Cllr Wilson said: “People are coming to me to say we could do with a toilet up there because on these hot days there are sometimes 300 to 400 people at the play area.
