Vandals who ransacked the Dartmouth’s park and ride toilet block at Norton over the weekend caused £1,000 worth of damage, a news report reveals.

During the attack, every one of the block’s doors were “kicked in”, including the front door, which was mortise locked. Police are now looking into the matter.

A spokesman for South Hams District Council, who own the block, said: “The block had been locked for the night. All the doors were kicked in. The doors themselves have been completely destroyed, but nothing else was damaged.”
