A council has until April next year to reach an agreement on whether to save two sets of public toilets from closure. Councillors in Cornwall were informed funds could be shared between two different facilities. Town clerk Michelle Davey said: “This clearly gives a greater degree of flexibility around reducing the costs.” Numerous letters from local people had urged the toilets remain open as they were in demand.
