The current sub-standard public toilets on the Exmouth seafront are going to be replaced in the near future with brand-new, state-of-the-art facilities, a brand-new report in the local media has revealed.

The Exmouth council has decided that the Queen’s Drive toilets opposite the Harbour View Café are costly to maintain and do not meet current British standard, and that replacing them altogether was the best possible approach.

The demolition process is due to take place this week, with new facilities in place by Easter. The new public toilets will contain six unisex cubicles, one male urinal, one unisex accessible toilet, and one unisex baby changing facility.

The new leisure area is a key element of the council’s Exmouth vision to change the town centre and seafront to establish the resort as an attractive 21st century destination for residents, businesses and visitors.

Toilet Turnstiles supplies an extensive range of solutions designed specifically to restrict access to a public toilet and also charge for access to the premises.

Our toilet turnstiles are built from graded stainless steel, for easier cleaning and maintenance, and also come equipped with lockable lids to prevent unwanted access. Furthermore, the separate coin box offers very versatile mounting options, as it can be installed either in front of the turnstile, at the side or alternatively, on the wall, with the cash box at the rear.

The turnstile’s coin mechanism can be programmed for virtually any combination of coins with a secure cash box to hold them, while the additional counters for the number of entries made will enable a thorough level of control over the system’s operation.
