Public toilets in the centre of Macclesfield are set to undergo major refurbishment work, in order to offer patrons a better experience, a recent news report in the local media has been able to reveal.

The toilets on Churchill Way and at Park Green in Macclesfield will be shut temporarily for the work to be carried out. The public convenience on Churchill Way is a toilet located at the foot of an office building and will be closed for around three weeks.

Following completion of this work, the public toilets at Park Green will also be closed for a fortnight for similar refurbishment work. The Park Green public convenience is a stand alone toilet block located near Macclesfield County Court, opposite The Society Rooms pub.

Temporary Portaloos will be available to use outside the buildings while the work is being done.

While the authority in charge of the public toilets has not revealed the actual nature of these improvements, the toilets could also use the addition of a very strong and solid access restriction system, and that’s exactly where Toilet Turnstiles could really puts its experience to good work.
