Residents in Cowling, Craven, North Yorkshire, are exploring the possibility of reopening several public toilets in this area, a recent news report on this topic was able to reveal.
The the parish council has received a request to reopen the Cowling Recreation Ground toilets in the centre of the village, as the area has become particularly popular with local residents.
Parish councillors are also planning to ask Craven District Council for a small donation to revamp and reopen some of the other public conveniences in the village.
Unfortunately, relying on funding from district councils is not a sure-fire funding method for re-opening the public toilets. On the other hand, charging a small fee for access is certainly a more secure and reliable solution, and this is exactly where Toilet Turnstiles could really puts its experience to good work.
