public toilets shut turned into flats Half height toilet turnstiles coin operated integrated payment systems access control devices double your throughput A set of public toilets that shut more than 20 years ago are being turned into flats. Architect Laura Clark is converting the conveniences in south London into a smart basement apartment. After the work is finished she will move in. The project has generated much interest among her friends. Clark said: “I might charge them a fiver each to pay for my bills. All my friends over the years have had to put up with me going on about these toilets.”

Half height toilet turnstiles from Toilet Turnstiles help keep WC’s open by utilising the coin operated nature of the turnstiles to pay for their maintenance. With integrated payment systems the access control devices offer a fantastic way to control access alongside a hardwearing and stylish finish. Made in the familiar tripod design, both single and double half height turnstiles are available allowing you to double your throughput while keeping the amount of space used by the turnstile to a minimum.
