Officials are feeling flushed with success this week after two sets of public toilets have been saved. The facilities will remain open in the Cambridgeshire town of Wisbech after the town council agreed on Monday night (March 19) to buy them. Following discussions with the district council, town councillors agreed to a purchase plan. The total interest free cost of buying the WC blocks and the land they occupy will be £22,500, to be paid over five years.
